Introduction
Agorzia is a fantasy setting created by a massive group of players. The world will be sculpted by a series of one shot board game sessions where players will take on the roles of deities that they create. There will be a historian during the game that tracks every detail of the game. The game will play out similar to any other board game, the difference is that there is no real winner. The deities used during the game will transform the game for the next group of players by changing spaces and adding new content such as event cards. After each board game session the players and the historian will have a recap where they will actually create a story behind their session. This story then becomes a permanent part of the history of Agorzia. The story will incorporate things that happened in the mortal realm as well. During the board game, there will be mortal events such as new races being created, civilizations forming, wars taking place, alliances being made, temples being created, natural disasters occurring, etc. The historian is also the game moderator, they will decide where these particular events take place in the mortal world. After the board game session is over, the players will work together to come up with a story that makes sense. Such as a war taking place between dwarves and humans. They will decide why, who, and where. During this time, the players have the opportunity to create key NPCs and locations in the world that will help sculpt it. The board game is a way of randomized story telling. It will open up possibilities that perhaps the players never would have considered.

Character Creation
In Agorzia (Deities Edition) you are asked to create your very own deity. There are three things that you will need to accomplish to finish the creation of your character. The first thing you will need to do is customize the appearance of your deity. After you’re satisfied with the look of your deity, you must choose a Domain for your Deity to control. The final thing you must do is choose a special Domain Ability from that Domain’s ability list.
Appearance
Your Deity’s appearance will have no true impact on Agorzia (Deities Edition), it will however impact things such as statues and paintings in the mortal realm. This means that when a game is played in the mortal realm, your deity will be described as looking like that. Most mortals will create symbols to represent a deity based on appearance, domain, and profile. Your appearance is only limited by your own imagination. The deity can be as big or small as you want. It might be a medium sized humanoid normally, but transforms into a gargantuan beast when it fights. No matter what the appearance is, your deity automatically has a trait that is called “Blind Sight”. This allows your deity to be completely aware of its surroundings without needing any senses such as hearing, smelling, or seeing. It just has supernatural senses that tells it where things are and what noises are being broadcasted. All deities are also able to communicate telepathically in every language over any distance and across any plane. Deities can choose to block telepathic messages if they choose to do so.

Domain
Your Deity’s domain has a major impact on the outcome of the game for your character and all other characters. The domain influences your character’s personality, mortal followers, abilities, and deity allies. There are twelve different domains to choose from:

Every deity controlling the same domain share followers, it’s likely that deities with the same domain will become allies. Later on a deity may obtain a second domain, the following restrictions apply:
Only one can be chosen from: Life, Nature, and Death. Only one can be chosen from Law, Balance, and Chaos. Only one can be chosen from War and Peace.
When a deity picks up a second domain, it only obtains 50% of both domain’s followers for the rest of the game. When a champion, artifact, or knowledge is played, it applies to both domains.
Please see the next section in regards to finding a suitable “Domain Ability” for your deity.

Domain Ability
Your Deity’s domain influences what list tour Deity can choose an ability from. Later on if your deity obtains a second domain they choose a second ability. Only one of the deity’s abilities may be used per round though. Please view the following Domain Ability lists to determine what ability you would like to take for your deity:

Turns and Rounds
Agorzia (Deities Edition) has a period of years that each deity is active for. This period of years is called the transcendent period of the deity’s lifespan. After the transcendent period, the deity has grown comfortable and doesn’t leave the comfort of their own home. Some deities may not ever find a home and these ones are considered drifters in the outer planes. Either way, they are limited to the amount of time it will take them to ascend to greatness. This time is represented by rounds in the game. Each round represents 50 years in the mortal realm. A typical game go for 50 rounds, which is the equivalence of 2500 years. The round limit may be modified by the Game Moderator at the setup of the game.
Each round in the game is determined by turns. After every player has taken their turn the round ends. Rounds can be very important as they impact many things. At the end of a round, the timer on a Multiverse Card ticks down, players must discard action cards, Deity Points reset to maximum, dice reset, and planar direction is reset.
At the beginning of a turn, a player must first choose whether they want to move or stay. If a player chooses to move then they will roll a four sided dice and move that distance in the current Planar Direction. After movement is resolved the player may then spend their Deity

Points. After deity points have been spent, the current occupied space is then resolved. After the occupied space has been resolved, the turn passes to the next person in the turn order.
Action Cards
Agorzia (Deities Edition) has a card system called Action Cards. Action Cards are used to keep the game flowing and to give each player unique opportunities to shape the outcome of the world in different ways. There are different variations of action cards and some are consistent and some have to be discarded after being used. All Action Cards require a different amount of DP to activate. In this section we will be covering each different action card and its corresponding cost, function, use, and chance to show up.

Event Cards
In Agorzia (Deities Edition) there are certain spaces you may land on that force you to draw an event card. Event cards are different from action cards as they’re not held in your hand and they’re immediately resolved. There are three different variation of Event Cards; Instant Reward, Instant Punishment, and Scenario.
Instant reward cards will provide details on the event that takes place that is specific to the player or the player’s domain. These type of cards will reward the player in some way. This could include more followers, receiving action cards, stealing action cards, moving to a new space of your choice, fulfilling requirements to a Multiverse Card, etc.
Instant punishment cards will provide details on the event that takes place that is specific to the player or the player’s domain. These type of cards will punish the player in some way. This could include losing followers, discarding action cards, giving other players your action cards, moving to another space at random, etc.
Scenario cards will layout a scenario with a list of three choices. The three choices will provide different results as shown on the card. The player must decide on what action he/she wishes to take. Most choices will provide both a reward and punishment, but these are not always player or player’s domain specific.

Multiverse Cards
Multiverse Cards are the bread and butter of Agorzia (Deities Edition). These are universal cards that are always in play and are scenarios that require every player’s attention. They are the major influencers. Every card has a universal event that every player should be aware of at all times. These cards are influenced by the player’s decisions, they can cause players to fight each other, ally with each other, or attempt to climb the deity rank quickly. Players could be severely punished or rewarded by these cards. Almost every Multiverse Card has a round limit. Once that limit has been exceeded it’s resolved. Every Multiverse Card has two outcomes and either outcomes will punish some players and reward others.
